The children of the Tribe always said, that everything changed with her... by her. She brought a new found freedom, to a world of rules and secrets. They were calling her the Princess, she was the Vampire Persianna, a creature of rare beauty, loved as much as she was hated, fiercely and with abandon. A single action, a long but not forgotten incident, buried in her past, was responsible... was the single reason, of her remarkable status, amongst the undead. The death of a legendary Vampire Lord, one of the first three, original brothers of the blood, had transformed the Die schöne Puppe, as the Austrians were calling her back when she was still human, the beautiful doll, to a creature feared by all. But the truth behind the fall of Mael the Wise, was not the proof of strength, most members of the Tribe weaved so many tales about, but a simple act of clever treachery; or perhaps to set the record straight once an for all, the first step of an old and carefully planned, revenge. The spirit of a long dead witch, a young woman's will to survive, along with an ancient Assyrian pendant, the only thing a stray gypsy left his abandoned and illegitimate daughter to remember him by, were some of the other pieces this plan needed to work. The final piece was calling for a song to be heard loud and clear, once every year and at a particular date, until a wronged Goddess finally answered it. Persianna never asked for the details, she didn't care, because she thought, she was protected in her status. She was wrong. Because before these final steps are taken, an ever-watching Evil, fueled by a bottomless hatred, manages even from his tomb, to send the Pat Bpen Jong-aang, a trusted caretaker, to enforce his will and punish everyone involved. Soon, one after the other the Children of the Tribe are falling victims to this unstoppable force and she realizes that for the first time, in more than six hundred years, she is as alone and scared as she was back then, when everything had started. With the Vampires of all the Factions in a terrible turmoil, panicked and turning to her to put an end to this gargantuan threat the are facing, Persianna is faced with an impossible task and an unwelcome choice. She must either step forward to fight an adversary, she knows she can't possibly best and surely perish as a consequence or admit her weakness and seek the assistance of a creature the Tribe considers an abomination and a traitor of the blood. The infamous Los sin Casa.
